Aetna Coverage for Deep TMS Treatment of Depression Has Improved

Aetna, one of the largest payers in the US with nearly 17 million covered lives, has published a new policy for TMS in July 2023.

The new policy has removed the 4-month psychotherapy trial as a requirement for a patient to be eligible for Deep TMS treatment.
